Huw Rossiter has a proven track record in delivering effective communications across the full range of media and corporate and consumer PR.
He is former Director of Communications for Welsh broadcaster S4C and was a member of its executive board.
He had strategic and creative oversight of all on-screen, off-screen and online marketing, media relations and PR, events, website, staff communications and the viewers' hotline.
Regulation and public policy
Previously, Huw was Head of Broadcasting Communications at Ofcom, having joined the regulator for broadcasting and telecommunications on inception as its first Head of Media.
Before that he was Head of Public Affairs at the Independent Television Commission (ITC), the former regulator for UK commercial television.
He spent the previous 19 years at the BBC; latterly as Head of Press & Publicity for BBC Wales, having spent the first 10 years of his BBC career as a Publicity Officer in London.
Huw began his career as a journalist on the South Wales Evening Post. His work has been published in the UK’s top regional titles including the Birmingham Post & Mail, Glasgow Herald, Leicester Mercury, Liverpool Echo, Manchester Evening News, Western Mail and Yorkshire Post.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Royal Television Society.
